Our portfolio companies “Gasenergy” Ltd and “Ukrgasvydobutok” JSC are energy companies that focus on natural gas, and have two major lines of business conducted through two principal subsidiaries – gas and oil exploration, and development and production; and gas gathering and processing, and retail gas distribution.
The main activity of “Gasenergy LTD” is investment in the gas and oil industry. The main activity of “Ukrgasvydobutok” JSC is gas production.
The companies have licenses for the following:
- Extraction of hydrocarbons.
- Sale of natural gas under the non controllable tariff.
The licensed area includes three platforms: Ostroverhovskoe, Dyatlovskoe and Bistroe.
- Ostroverhovskoe — estimated daily production of gas, 60 000 cubic meters.
- Dyatlovskoe — estimated daily production of gas, 180 000–200 000 cubic meters.
- Bistroe — estimated daily production of gas is 500 000 cubic meters
Estimated annual production (end of 2010), 250 MMcm.
We are actively looking out for M&A and LBO targets and working closely with most of the large players on the Ukrainian energy market to secure the company’s future exit strategy. A total of 28 engineers are employed by the companies.
The Group is headquartered in Kiev and supported by operational offices in eastern and western Ukraine.
