Today “O3” is the largest and most dynamically developing operator of wide band access using FTTB technology (fiber into house) in Ukraine.
“O3 LTD”. owns companies such as FREENET and IHOME, and ANP-TV.
“O3” provides services in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sevasopil, Symferopil, and Lviv. In December 2009 we started providing services in Dnipropetrovsk and Ivano-Frankivsk.
“O3” provides high speed Internet access (100Mbit/s).
Today, FREENET and IHOME provide an assortment of services including wireless networks (Wi-Fi), ip television, ip telephony, the installation of virtual private networks, and development software for automation of office services. O3 collaborates with Cisco Systems, Inkom Corporation, Digital Generation Company, ProLine Company, Golden Telecom, DataGroup, and many more. O3 employs more than 350 people. O3 expects it will control the majority of the Internet market in Ukraine. O3 prides itself on the high quality provision of Internet access at affordable prices and with excellent customer service. O3 professionals hold certificates of expertise from software developers and hardware manufacturers such as Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, Oracle, SCO, HP, Nortel Networks, SUN Microsystems, IBM and many others.
The company’s main activity (90% of revenue) is the provision of Internet and related services to homes and businesses,. They include such services as internet resources (availability of IPTV on PC, access to file network archive, access to the first legal musical archive in Ukraine, access to network users’ photo galleries, and access to video libraries), co-location, antivirus protection, and additional services. FREENET is also the owner of one of the largest game portals in the country, Ukrgame.
In May 2008 the company purchased 100% of the registered capital in DIVISION, LLC (5,000 subscribers, TM I-Home). Kyiv directorate, Zhytomyr, Crimea (Sevastopil, Symferpil), Lviv, and Dnipropetrovsk branches were established. A branch in Ivano-Frankivsk was opened in 2009.
As well as providing Internet access and TV services, we are planning to provide telecommunication services starting from the middle of 2010. For this reason we have received licenses for the provision local telephone communication services and essential numbering plan resources; the necessary equipment has already been purchased and the certification of said equipment is nearing completion. We have concluded the contract on interconnection with Ukrtelekom OJSC and commenced the development work on interconnection.
